Subic Drydock Corporation (SUBICDOCK) is a Philippine registered Corporation providing Ship Repair and Newbuilding Services at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

SUBICDOCK is wholly owned subsidiary of CABRAS MARINE CORPORATION (CABTUG), a US (Guam) Maritime Services Organization which has been the leading provider of Tugboat, Salvage, Pilotage and Waterfront Services for the US Navy and commericial oceangoing vessels in Guam and Micronesia for over 30 years, SUBICDOCK is managed by a Team of Professional Technicians experienced in Drydocking, Ship Repair and Newbuilding.

Subicdock is proud to be an ISO 9001:2000 certified, registered through ABS Quality Evaluations.  Subicdock operations are covered by ISO 9001 Quality Accreditation that addresses those areas of Quality Management essential in achieving and keeping our customers’ trust and confidence in our overall capability consistently providing quality products and services in ship repair and newbuildings.

HEALTH, SAFETY and ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

SUBIC DRYDOCK CORPORATION is totally committed to safety in the performance of its work, and ranks safety as foremost priority alongside quality, timely completion, cost effectiveness and environmental integrity as primary objectives.

The management is committed to develop, implement and maintain an effective safety management system in each locality, as well as in the enterprise level.

We target to achieve a high standard of safety and in compliance with relevant statutory regulations and contractual obligation regarding safety and health. This statement covered personal injury, property damage, occupational health, fire, security, and compliance with legislation.

The management also requires all site personnel to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of the Project Safety & Health Plan and to commit themselves to the safety objectives of every day work activities, also to have continuous improvement in safety performance.

Safety is everyone’s business and each individual is fully responsible for safety at work.

The General  Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Safety & Health Policy at this particular site. The Site Safety Officer/Engineer and Supervisory Staff shall ensure the safety and health of all people, including customers,visitors,and sub-contractors, who may be affected by the project operations.

The performance of employees with respect to safety will be considered during evaluations for promotion and salary adjustment. Any employee who is found to be deliberately and consistently in breach of safety regulations and instructions may be subject to summary dismissal.

Subcontractors are also responsible for ensuring health and safety at work by paying close attention to design, work methods, materials and equipment.

This policy is the direct concern of the Management and will be reviewed from time to time when necessary, or at least once every six months.
